My Response to Question Number 7

For this part i will be talking about Title sequence and Location
Scrip

Titles

  • Looking back at our primarily task we did not use titles or even put a title sequence in, from this we learned that not having a title sequence makes it look unprofessional. with the title sequence you can set the mood and atmosphere of the film and the audience is introduced to the film, knowing what kind of things will be happening. In our Final film we used titles this made it look much more professional, also having the title sequence in our film set the mood and starts of the film better. We understand that having lots of titles looks good.

Location choice

  • From our primarily task you can see that your location choice did not look all great, however learning that the location a key part in the film and needs to be right, we set our final film location in an isolated area that for fills the conventions of a thriller.

Continuity errors (jump cuts)

  • We learned that our film needs to flow and have continuity throw out, so the audience understands whats going on and doesn't get confused. We know that Jump cut are good at certain times however the story still needs to flow.  In our primarily idea we have a few jump cuts this makes the sequence look bad and the audience get confuse, however in our final film the continuity flows and the audience understands whats going on instead of having loads of jump cuts and continuity errors around.
